We had a real good turnout for the Buffalo match. After the gale winds and rain at our regular match, the conditions were a lot better. Jack saved some extra rounds for Mr. Buffalo and won with a dead center bulls eye.
Chris shot very well, as usual, on the Buffalo and came in second place. Grady and I had the same score. But Grady won the tie for third place. Gary, somehow missed one shot or we would have had a 3 way tie. It’s difficult to see if there are any changes at 800 meters with no flags or spotters. It is very easy to miss if the wind or mirage decides to move around on you.
Nick had trouble getting on target. Unless you hit below in the dirt, it’s impossible to tell if your shot went high, left or right.
Marion, a new shooter, with his new rifle, and untried loads couldn’t get on the Buffalo. Don’t get discouraged, we have all been there. Just keep trying, you’ll make it.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to compete.
See ya next time,
LeRoy
